Introductions are in order….

Well despite the quietness on the old blog, (same old story – awful at checking in here!). I have actually been working quite hard believe it or not! Firstly, I’d like to introduce you to these two new chaps below……

If you popped by my stand at the Midcentury Modern Show in Dulwich just over a week ago, you may have seen the new Staffordshire China Wallpaper make its first outing. It got a lotta love I can tell you! So many of you are King Charles Spaniel lovers out there! Well the design is for a new wallpaper in 4 new colour ways, and I also have greeting cards as well. I’m updating the shop later on this week, so they’ll be there then. I also have my new swan mugs, swan notebooks to add, as well as a new London Parakeet wallpaper and cushion design to add to the “Feather you Nest” range of homewares. There’s a preview of the new design up on our homepage to give you a taster.

I’ll see you later in the week!

I’ve been lucky enough to be accepted to have a stand at Midcentury Moderns Fair at Dulwich College later this month. So, as a lovely thing to do, I’m giving away one pair of tickets for you lovely bunch! It’s normally £9 entrance fee so I’m saving you some big bucks to spend on some lovely midcentury modern wares. Entering is easy and there are a couple ways to do it, either leave me a comment below, or sign up for our newsletter. I’m also on twitter! If you retweet my ticket tweet I’ll include you in the giveaway as well, I’m @lisakbliss. The fair is on the 16th of March at Dulwich College in London, so make sure you can get here. The chance to enter will close on Tuesday the 11th at midnight so it gives me chance to pop it in the post for you (just under a week!) . AND as another lovely thing to do you will also win one of my NEW notebooks! Yup thats right folks, two gifts for you!  So, Good luck! And if you don’t win, never mind, still be very lovely to see on the 16th if you can make it.

HOME 2014

Last week we went to Earls Court to do our first ever trade show: HOME 2014. It was a really exciting event (stressful – I’ll tell you that for nothing!). We got to meet some great people, find out what designs went down well and some great new stockists! Once I got over the fear that no-one would even approach our stand it was three full on days of chatting and networking (with the occasional high-5 thrown in for good measure). We met some truly great people and, for the most part everyone was really kind and gave some great advice to us as newbies. We were in the ‘Home Grown’ area, meaning we were new and had british made products.

A week on, we’re still full of enthusiasm and great ideas as to what to do next but still utterly exhausted somehow?! So we’re moving at a snail’s pace but hopefully getting there! Here are some snaps I took on my phone of the stand….

I must remember to take better and more pictures next time!
